Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of an accessible program that is similar to garage band? If you know of any, Where can you find it? and how much does it cost. Thanks,
Leslie

well, garage band is accessible with voiceover under lepard and snow lepard... Other audio programs for the mac are audio hijack pro and Amadeus, both accessible with vo to a certain degree. Also, the next version of pro tools released, most likely in early 2010 will have major accessibility improvements with voiceover under snow lepard. It really depends what you want to do with the program. some may not have enough features, but some might be overkill.

sorry if I didn't make it clrar in my first post, but what I was talking about is something similar to garage band that works with a windows XP machine. Again, sorry for not making it clear on my first post,
Leslie

audacity is probably a good place to start as its a wave editor and multi track recorder in one and its free and pretty accessible with jaws from what i heard. Sonar is pretty accessible with its pree or paid jaws scripts as is sound forge and gold wave..

yeah, I use sound forge and sonar producer with the jSonar scripts on a daily basis. would definetly recommend either depending on your needs. and as far as gold wave, I love their batch converter.
